| Description: The emphasis on this Program is to provide students (5 years and up) with the skill and confidence to skate. This program starts with very basic skating skills and progresses to the more proficient skills as the student progresses in their development. Our belief at this level is to encourage Fun, Fitness and Skill Development in every class so that skating may become a lifetime activity to enjoy! ***If your child is 5 years old or up, this is the program for them regardless of if they have previous skating experience. (If your child is 4 they may request special permission to register in this program IF they have skated in one learn to skate program or equivalent and can stand up independently on the ice).
