| Description: The emphasis on this Program is to provide students (5 years and up) with the skill and confidence to skate. This program starts with very basic skating skills and progresses to the more proficient skills as the student progresses in their development. Our belief at this level is to encourage Fun, Fitness and Skill Development in every class so that skating may become a lifetime activity to enjoy! There will be children of all skill levels within this category (including beginner) and they will be broken up based on skill level on the first day. Please be advised that all students are required to wear a C.S.A. approved helmet with face cage before being allowed on the ice. NO ski or bicycle helmets shall be allowed. Please also send your child with a jacket and mittens as well as comfortable/moveable clothing, and splash pants if you desire to keep them warm or dry. |
